Over the past few years, the Pigler Automation team has expanded beyond our home base in Longmont, Colorado. We currently have team members in Seattle, Houston, and Buffalo and continue to grow and expand our operations. The benefits of having our team spread out across the U.S. mean that we can support more industries and companies. Still, our company’s strength is rooted in the connections we’ve made as a team. In April, we all came together for our Spring Summit, a semi-annual event for team building and fostering our integral role in the company’s operations.
For many of our new team members, it was an opportunity to meet co-workers face-to-face; for others, it was a chance to reconnect with old friends and colleagues. But while our summit aimed to strengthen our bonds as a team, it was not all fun and games.

Our Spring Summit was a significant platform for learning and expanding our knowledge of control system technology. We were privileged to have a presentation from Rockwell Automation and Rexel on Factory Talk, which deepened our understanding of this product. We also had the opportunity to share highlights from recent projects, demonstrating how we overcame complex challenges to meet our customers’ needs. This was a valuable chance for new team members to familiarize themselves with past projects and for everyone to gain a deeper insight into our work and its impact.
The best part of our Spring Summit was indulging in our DOUBLERAZORBACK!! core value with the entire team. We love getting together and having fun, for instance, before the Summit, team members got together to take in a Rockies Game at Coors Field. On the day of our Summit, we broke up the day with games and other fun activities, taking time to enjoy the opportunity to be together.
We concluded our Spring Summit with a stronger team and a renewed purpose to continue to build lasting relationships with our people and companies that improve the world.
